Job summary

Transport for Wales is seeking a Commercial Insight Manager to analyse and forecast the impact of marketing activities, forecasting revenue contributions and driving improvements across marketing strategies.

You will work with the Marketing Team, Insights Manager, and Head of Commercial Insight and Analytics to develop reports, dashboards, and attribution models, informing senior stakeholders and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in an analytical role
• High attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with management
• Experience presenting complex information in reports/presentations to tight deadlines
• Ability and motivation to develop a detailed understanding of the TfW network and drivers of business success

Responsibilities

• Analyse and forecast the impact of TfW marketing activity to inform revenue drivers
• Analyse weekly marketing revenue contribution across the TfW network and beyond
• Produce outputs meeting business requirements and present strategic and tactical recommendations
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards highlighting key metrics for stakeholders
• Design and conduct hypothesis testing using statistical methods to support marketing claims
• Deliver data-backed recommendations to inform overall marketing strategy
• Develop a media channel attribution model to assess ROI across channels
• Support forecasting of marketing revenue over a 5-year horizon and contribute to budgeting
• Ensure variances to budget/forecast are reported in weekly variance analysis
• Keep up-to-date with marketing analytics trends and data visualisation tools
