Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence seeks a product-focused professional to shape enhancements in its Market Risk analytics. You will translate client and market needs into clear requirements and work with data, software and financial engineering teams to deliver new risk-model features.

You will support PoCs, client onboarding, and production runs, while developing your product and technical understanding through hands-on prototyping and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Interest in financial services, risk management, quant finance, or technology.
• A quantitative background in finance, mathematics, economics, physics, computer science, or other technical subjects.
• Interest in product design and/or software development.
• Experience using Python, SQL, and/or other programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of the product roadmap for Market Risk, ensuring priorities are understood and delivered to a high standard.
• Assist in delivering new product features, communicating with the product team and clarifying priorities.
• Research and design functionality, create feature specifications, coordinate implementation, and prepare documentation for new features.
• Coordinate with data, software, and financial engineering teams on development, testing, and implementation of new risk models.
• Develop analytical tools and prototypes for new features prior to implementation using feedback to build product and technical understanding.
• Develop into a trusted product contact for the team, ensuring end-to-end functionality and escalating issues as needed.
• Support clients by responding to product questions and contributing to clear, accurate product information.
• Assist the professional services team with PoCs, client onboarding, and production runs.
• Assist in presenting product capabilities to stakeholders, gathering feedback and sharing insights to support the team.
• All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
