Job summary

DRW is seeking a Risk Product Analyst in London to work with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Quant Researchers across multiple desks. You will diagnose and resolve issues affecting risk and valuation, while building tools to automate diagnostics and improve workflows.

The role requires deep knowledge of financial products, strong technical skills in Python and SQL, and a proactive, collaborative approach within a fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of financial products (cash instruments, futures, swaps, options) and markets.
• Experience in trade support, trading technology, production support in a multi-desk environment.
• Ability to write Python and SQL to investigate issues, automate diagnostics, and query data.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Quant Researchers across asset classes as the main contact for risk/valuation issues.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across apps, APIs, databases, messaging, and underlying services.
• Monitor issues and prioritize incidents by potential impact on trading, PMs, and P&L.
• Escalate with a clear diagnosis to engineering/quant/infrastructure teams when needed to accelerate resolution.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to identify recurring problems and drive solutions.
• Develop Python tools to automate diagnostics, investigate issues, and improve workflows.
• Build deep understanding of the trading and risk infra and service dependencies.
