Job summary

QinetiQ Limited in Gosport, England, United Kingdom, is seeking a Programme Manager for Maritime Estates to lead and deliver complex construction and estate-management programmes across the maritime estate.

The role requires extensive project management experience, a solid grasp of CDM regulations and NEC procurement, and the ability to coordinate internal and external stakeholders across multiple sites. It offers a hybrid pattern with three days on site and 37 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a construction project/programme management environment from inception to completion.
• Extensive experience of CDM Regulations and must have acted as client or similar on a construction related project.
• Excellent experience of NEC contracts and construction procurement methods.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of positive engagement with programme customers, partners and supplier both internal and external
• Resolving conflicts (including prioritisation calls) within the programme and collaborating across QinetiQ
• Lead and deliver a defined Programme of major construction projects
• Define and maintain under review the overall aims, objectives and risks of the Programme, together with its specific priorities, and the overall scope of the Programme; including monthly management reporting
• Delivery of the Programme outcomes, to agreed baseline (customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash and sales)
• Leadership; being able to establish the vision and direction for the programme (in line with the ISBP), to influence and align others towards this common purpose, and to empower & inspire people to achieve success
