Job summary

Trevett Services is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead major construction and estates programmes across the South Coast estate. The role requires overseeing budget, schedule, and performance across complex projects in defence and maritime sectors.

Based in Portsmouth and Gosport with hybrid working (3 days on site), you will manage multiple projects, engage stakeholders, and ensure compliance with CDM regulations and contract terms.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Construction Project or Programme Management from inception to completion.
• Background in construction, civil engineering, infrastructure or M&E projects.
• Excellent knowledge of NEC contracts and construction procurement methods.
• Strong understanding of CDM Regulations with client-side experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, contractors and stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Relevant construction degree and/or professional qualifications (APM/PRINCE2/Chartered) desirable.
• Must be eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver major construction and estates programmes end-to-end.
• Oversee multiple projects including building works, civil engineering and M&E.
• Manage programme budgets, schedules, risks and performance.
• Develop relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Lead resources and delivery teams across projects.
• Ensure CDM compliance and health and safety standards.
• Oversee procurement and contract management.
• Produce monthly progress reports for senior stakeholders.
• Ensure programmes are delivered on time and within budget.
