Job summary

World Fuel Liverpool is seeking a Terminal Operator to support the safe receipt, storage, and transfer of fuel products. This hands-on role suits individuals who enjoy outdoor work, operating equipment, and working within a strong team.

You will receive on-the-job training, with emphasis on safety, equipment operation, and standard procedures. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required or preferred, with additional safety training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in terminal operations or similar hands-on environments preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of pumps, valves, gauges; comfortable with computers/handheld devices.
• Ability to obtain safety and operational training; firefighting/first aid helpful.

Responsibilities

• Receive fuel from vessels and transfer product into storage tanks following procedures.
• Load and discharge product to company and third‑party vessels and road tankers.
• Perform tank gauging, product measurement, and inventory checks.
• Complete daily inspections, routine maintenance, and basic operational reporting.
• Support emergency response activities and regular safety drills.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and follow terminal security protocols.
