Exolum, based in Thetford, is seeking a proactive Operator to join the Pipeline Site and Operations team. The role covers receipt, storage, handling and delivery of aviation fuel in a 24/7 environment, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with operations and maintenance to deliver reliable service, maintain safety culture and complete required training. NVQ level 2 is desirable; experience in oil/gas sectors is advantageous.

Formación

• Safety-focused and proactive operations professional with strong communication skills.
• Relevant NVQ Level 2 is desirable but not essential; regulated industry experience preferred.
• Experience in oil, gas, petrochemical, aviation fuel or COMAH environments advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe, efficient terminal operations including pipeline receipts, tank-to-tank transfers, road tanker receipts and loading.
• Communicate with terminal staff to enable effective operations and ensure documented handovers.
• Contribute to terminal operational procedure reviews and updates; highlight areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with terminal safety rules and participate in SHE audits and driver/contractor audits.
• Complete sampling activities including product quality analysis; maintain accurate operational records.
