Job summary

Babcock in Rosyth, Scotland invites applications for its Marine Structures Graduate Programme. A two-year rotation across structural engineering teams, the scheme offers hands-on exposure to large-scale naval projects and lifecycle support from design through to delivery.

Starting salary is £35,000 with progression dependent on location, role and qualifications; graduates move into a permanent role within the Engineering Function with opportunities to pursue Chartered status.

Qualifications

• Must have or be on track to achieve a BEng, MEng, BSc, or MSc in Structural/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related fields.
• Must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Rotational placements across marine structures projects in a defence environment.
• Contribute to live projects supporting the Royal Navy and international customers.
• Develop skills in structural design, safety, analysis and lifecycle management.
