Job summary

Suncor Energy UK is seeking a Coordinator Operations - Marine to manage vessel vetting and clearance programs from our London office. You will support marine audits and ensure safe, compliant shipments of crude oil, products and chemicals worldwide.

Based in London, you will coordinate movements with terminals, ship owners, schedulers and suppliers, preparing weekly schedules and maintaining voyage records while reporting to the Marine Manager.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the marine and shipping tanker operations (spot, COA and time charter).
• Preference for sailing experience or training in shipping.
• Working knowledge of INCO terms and custody transfer.
• Basic knowledge of Ship Inspection Report / CDI / Offshore Vessel Inspection Database concepts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, reliable and efficient marine shipments of crude oil, products, chemicals and equipment.
• Coordinate safe and economical marine transport for domestic and international trades.
• Liaise with terminals, refineries, schedulers, ship owners and agents on marine movements.
• Administer affreightment contracts and time charters for the Manager Marine.
• Provide updates to the Manager Marine and maintain voyage files.
• Prepare weekly movement schedules and support vessel vetting and clearance.
• Input cost and cargo data into the marine system and verify invoices.
• Ensure regulatory and company compliance.
