Job summary

Chemring Countermeasures is seeking a Manufacturing Trainer for late shifts to deliver engaging training to production staff and help create clear work instructions, while maintaining high-quality training records to ensure a competent and flexible workforce.

You will assess and develop employee competence, contribute to inductions, promote health and safety awareness, and coach staff. The role supports the L&D strategy and fosters a positive, inclusive culture across the site.

Qualifications

• Essential: Level 3 Trainer Qualification (or prepared to work toward).
• Essential: Assessor Qualification (or prepared to work toward).
• Essential: IT Skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Learning Management Systems).

Responsibilities

• Deliver operational training to CCM and externally validated standards.
• Ensure each production operator is competent through assessment and following work instructions and risk assessments.
• Assist with technical knowledge transfer of new processes and products through fit-for-purpose process instructions.
