Job summary

MBDA in Stevenage is seeking a Test Subject Matter Expert for Manufacturing Test Policy & Processes. The role sits within the Manufacturing Technical Experts and Producibility team, spanning concept to series production.

You will lead manufacturing test activities, provide technical leadership, drive integration of design-for-test, and contribute to continuous improvement and best practice across Manufacturing UK. Occasional travel within the UK and EU is expected.

Qualifications

• Significant experience and knowledge in manufacturing test policies and processes.
• Ability to lead high-value, complex projects and guide others.
• Autonomy to plan and organise multiple tasks to meet objectives.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication across all levels and mentoring能力.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing test activities for new programmes, review proposals, advise on test design and ensure compliance with MBDA processes.
• Provide technical leadership on manufacturing test for current programmes, conduct reviews, investigations, and contribute to test documentation.
• Capture lessons learned to influence future product development and embed design-for-test.
• Concept and lead IRAD projects within Manufacturing UK aligned to roadmaps.
• Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across Manufacturing UK.
• Promote manufacturing test best practices and engage stakeholders across MBDA.
