Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to ensure manufacturing processes are applied consistently across Projects in the UK. You will provide expert advice on quality systems, drive continuous improvement and support manufacturing excellence.

The role includes managing SAP non-conformances, analyzing defect data and implementing corrective actions to reduce risk and strengthen compliance. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will audit processes, deliver quality training

Qualifications

• Ideally qualified to minimum HNC/HND in relevant subject.
• Quality professional with experience in process-based integrated management systems & business improvement.
• Experience using risk management and problem solving tools (8D, 5Y, PFMEA).
• Good working knowledge of Office; PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
• Quality auditing experience.
• Knowledge of EN9100/AS9100, AS9102, AS9145, AS9146 standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and planning skills to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to identify sustainable business improvements and implement them.
• Understand internal and external customer requirements and respond accordingly.
• Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels.
• Self-motivated with persistence to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality assurance support to Manufacturing UK to support excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and deliver quality awareness and training across Manufacturing UK.
• Support programmes to achieve cost, time and quality targets.
• Improve effectivity of processes within the Company Business Management System for Manufacturing UK.
• Independently assess and audit processes; report outcomes and close identified issues.
• Maintain links with MBDA QA colleagues across UK and overseas to share best practices.
