Job summary

Pertemps Swindon are recruiting an experienced Manufacturing Technician to join our manufacturing client in Swindon, SN2. The role offers £35,360 per annum and a Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm schedule.

This is an ongoing temporary position (minimum 3 months) requiring BPSS and security clearance. Candidates will follow strict SOPs, work with a range of production tools, and contribute to R&D and manufacturing within a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Proven recent experience within a highly regulated and compliant focussed manufacturing environment.
• A background within electronics, wiring and/or composites production.
• Excellent knowledge of following strict SOPs.
• High standard of attention to detail and compliance driven.
• Able to successfully pass Security Check (SC) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Follow strict processes to manufacture products to require spec.
• Work within the legal parameters to problem solve when identifying issues within production.
• Use a range of standard and non-standard production tools including, torque wrenches, micrometres, screwdrivers, saws etc.
• Complete multiple processes and tasks each day.
• Be an active member of the team to drive R&D and Manufacturing.
