Job summary

Thales Group in Glasgow invites applicants to join the 4-year Manufacturing Apprentice programme in Scotland as a Manufacturing Technician Apprentice. You will gain on-the-job experience while studying for SVQ PEO Level 2, Diploma 7, and an HNC, with a pathway to fully qualified Engineering status.

Through rotations, you will build core skills in assembly, testing, and problem solving while earning £24,000 per year and enjoying hybrid working options and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• SVQ PEO Level 2 and HNC are studied during the programme.
• Diploma 7 achieved through work-based learning.
• Pathway to fully qualified Engineering status on completion.

Responsibilities

• Support the build and manufacture of products.
• Undertake product testing and validation activities.
• Assist with engineering investigations and problem solving.
• Visit customer sites, platforms and installations to support surveys and trials.
• Work with experienced technicians on live projects.
