Job summary

Thales in Glasgow is offering a four-year Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship that blends college study with hands-on work in our Industry team. You will learn to build and test products, support surveys and system deployment, and work alongside experienced technicians on live projects.

By the end you will hold SVQ PEO Level 2, Diploma 7 and an HNC, with a view to progressing into specialist manufacturing roles.

Qualifications

• Two Highers in English and Maths at level B or above
• Five National 5s including English, Maths and a Science subject at Grade C or above
• Live and work in Scotland for the duration of the programme.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the build and manufacture of products
• Undertaking product testing and validation activities
• Assisting with engineering investigations and problem solving
• Visiting customer sites, platforms and installations to support surveys, trials and system deployment where required
• Working with experienced technicians on live projects
