Job summary

Johnson Controls Frome is a high‑pressure diecasting foundry, manufacturing sprinkler frames for the global market. We are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join our team on a continental shift pattern.

This is a hands‑on role within a busy manufacturing environment, where safety, quality, and teamwork are key to our success. You will work as part of a shift team with full training provided for the role and equipment.

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Ability to follow procedures while working independently when required.
• A reliable, practical, and proactive approach.

Johnson Controls Frome is a high‑pressure diecasting foundry, manufacturing sprinkler frames for the global market. We are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join our team on a continental shift pattern. What You Will Do

• Work as part of a shift team to manufacture components in line with the production plan

How You Will Do It

• Work safely at all times, following training and site procedures
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors on shift
• Take responsibility for your own tasks while supporting the wider team
• Identify and report hazards, unsafe practices, or quality concerns
• Contribute to a positive, cooperative team environment focused on continuous improvement

What We Are Looking For

Essential

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment

Desirable

• GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above)
• Experience working with machinery or within a foundry/industrial environment
• An interest in continuous improvement and learning new skills
