Job summary

Johnson Controls Frome is a high‑pressure diecasting foundry, manufacturing sprinkler frames for the global market. We are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join our team on a continental shift pattern.

This is a hands‑on role within a busy manufacturing environment, where safety, quality, and teamwork are key to our success. You will work as part of a shift team with full training provided for the role and equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Ability to follow procedures while working independently when required.
• A reliable, practical, and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a shift team to manufacture components in line with the production plan.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
• Carry out checks to ensure product quality meets required standards.
• Support smooth production flow by highlighting issues and helping reduce downtime.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
• Follow all site and group Environment, Health & Safety policies and procedures.
