Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation invites a Manufacturing Team Leader to join our Christchurch operations in the UK. You will lead an assembly, test, inspection, rework and repair team, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on problem solving and robust knowledge of QMS and MRP systems. You will promote a safe, collaborative and productive work environment, mentor a diverse team, and perform HR administration as needed, while

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in electronic/pneumatics engineering and electrical/mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment
• Experience Leading a diverse multi-skilled manufacturing team
• A working knowledge of MRP systems
• Understanding and adhering to documented business processes including the QMS

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for the Assembly, Test, Inspection, Rework and Repair of product to support achievement of the business goals and objectives in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
• Understand and adhere to documented business processes and requirements including the company QMS
• Take a lead role in investigation and resolution of production related issues including root cause analysis
• Complete HR related tasks and administration as necessary for smooth operation of the team
• Support the team and wider business in creating a Safe, Collaborative and Productive environment using provided tools and processes
• Maintain computer literacy with MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
• Support the area Supervisor in their duties as required

Job description

As a Manufacturing Team Leader for our Christchurch location, you will be responsible for understanding and adhering to documented business processes and requirements, including but not limited to the company Quality Management system (QMS) and ensure the same of each member of your team. Take a lead role in investigation and resolution of production related issues, as appropriate, including identification and resolution of Root Cause(s),
