Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Leader in Barnstaple, England to head production teams in a world-class aerospace facility. You will drive operational excellence, lead lean initiatives and ensure safety, quality, delivery and productivity.

The role requires a degree, 3+ years in manufacturing/operations, plus proven leadership and strong Lean, VSM, 6S experience. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential; a competitive salary and benefits package

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent.
• 3+ years' experience in Manufacturing or Operations.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement knowledge.
• Experience with Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, and 6S.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills using methodologies such as 8D or A3.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Operations Leader to join a world-class aerospace manufacturing business at its Devon based facility.

Working within a highly innovative aerospace environment, you will lead production teams, drive operational excellence, and champion continuous improvement initiatives to deliver outstanding safety, quality, delivery, and productivity performance.
