Job summary

Qualifications

  • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools.
  • Experience with root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D or A3.
  • Familiarity with Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, and 6S.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Support production teams with technical expertise and process improvements.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.

  • Work closely with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance teams to improve operational performance.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace and regulatory standards.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a world-class aerospace manufacturing business at its Devon-based facility.

Working within a highly innovative aerospace environment, you will be responsible for developing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity are achieved.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and optimise manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
