Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is helping a well-established manufacturer near Petersfield recruit a Manufacturing Team Leader to run day-to-day performance on the shop floor. You will organise the team, ensure smooth workflow through machining and manual production, and uphold quality, delivery, and health & safety standards.

This hands-on leadership role demands practical problem-solving, strong communication, and the ability to read drawings and technical information.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/ machining environment.
• Previous leadership or team leader experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read drawings / technical information.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organise the team across machining, saws and manual preparation
• Allocate daily work and keep jobs moving through to the next stage
• Improve productivity and remove bottlenecks
• Maintain quality, safety and process standards
• Support coaching, feedback and development of the team
• Work with production, technical, maintenance and other departments
• Drive practical continuous improvement on the shop floor
