Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Functional Analyst to support and enhance manufacturing technology across multiple plants. You’ll implement, configure and support complex manufacturing systems, focusing on Viscan process monitoring and automation, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvement in line with enterprise standards.

This role may be based in various EMEA plants. You will collaborate with plant teams, engineering and external partners to ensure reliable system

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, IT or Engineering with manufacturing experience.
At least 2 years working with PLCs, sensors, automation or manufacturing systems.
Basic IT skills: scripting, queries and troubleshooting.
Experience in manufacturing operations and process knowledge.
Strong communication and fluent English.

Responsibilities

Analyze requirements and design technology solutions for operational challenges.
Configure, test, monitor and support application systems and enhancements.
Provide 24/7 manufacturing support on a rotational basis.
Collaborate with plant teams, vendors and IT to deliver projects.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and SDLC.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization.
