Job summary

Ingram Content Group UK Ltd is seeking a Manufacturing Shift Manager to oversee day-to-day shift operations at our Milton Keynes facility. You will lead multiple supervisors and drive lean manufacturing, safety, and quality initiatives to meet production targets.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive shift management experience in FMCG or similar environments, and a focus on cost efficiency and personnel development.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing/production teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to manage multiple shifts and drive productivity.
• Experience with safety standards and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift operations to optimise production, quality, cost and delivery.
• Lead Team Leaders and Supervisors to ensure effective communications and workload prioritisation.
• Drive lean manufacturing, 5S and yield improvement across the site.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues and meet customer SLAs.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance reviews; develop staff for succession.
