Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing in Milton Keynes. You will drive production targets, scheduling, and resource planning while coordinating with the supply chain and other departments to meet delivery commitments.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in production management, strong leadership, and expertise in MRP/ERP systems (SAP). You will champion Lean improvement, safety, and quality within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Production Manager or similar manufacturing leadership role.
• Strong people management skills; lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Experience using MRP/ERP systems; SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production activities to meet targets and deadlines.
• Plan and allocate workloads, labour and resources for efficiency.
• Oversee production scheduling and material availability with supply chain.
• Utilise MRP/ERP systems to monitor performance and generate reports.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Oversee assembly operations and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain high standards of quality, health and safety.
• Monitor KPIs, identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
• Lead, motivate and develop production teams and culture of improvement.
