Job summary

Marmion in Garforth, Leeds is seeking a Manufacturing Sales Account Manager to grow relationships with distributors and customers, manage quotes and tenders, and help shape Sales and Marketing processes as the business expands.

The role suits a commercially minded professional with experience in manufacturing or technical environments, who can work closely with commercial, technical and marketing teams, and travel locally as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sales, marketing or commercially focused role.
• Experience working with distributors, resellers or channel partners.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Comfortable using CRM systems, ERP software and Microsoft Office.
• Sage 200 experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales enquiries, opportunities, quotations and tenders from initial contact through to completion.
• Develop relationships with new, existing and lapsed customers, distributors and channel partners.
• Maintain accurate CRM and ERP records, sales pipelines and commercial reporting.
• Coordinate sales proposals and technical product information with internal teams.
• Support digital marketing activity, website content, email campaigns and social media through external agencies.
• Gather market and competitor insights while improving sales and marketing processes.
