Job summary

Safran Engineering Services in Gloucester is seeking a proactive Manufacturing Expeditor to support a critical recovery programme in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves managing 25-30 orders, tracking progress, and driving rapid resolution across Production, Planning, Quality, Logistics and Suppliers.

You will work onsite in Gloucester with 2 Day Shifts, 1 Bridging Shift and 1 Night Shift.

Qualifications

Self-starter with initiative and drive.
Highly organised and action-oriented in a busy setting.
Ability to build relationships across departments.
Influence others to complete actions without direct authority.
Comfortable challenging delays and driving resolution.
Strong project coordination or management skills.
Delivery-focused with a results mindset.
Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or ShopVue.

Responsibilities

Manage 25-30 critical Manufacturing Orders.
Track orders through every stage of production.
Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, Logistics, Special Processes and Suppliers.
Remove delays, bottlenecks and waiting time.
Escalate issues and drive rapid resolution.
Monitor recovery plans and ensure commitments are met.
Produce daily status reports and recovery metrics.
Support weekly recovery reviews.
