Job summary

Safran Engineering Services UK Limited in Gloucester is seeking proactive Manufacturing Expediter to support a critical recovery programme in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The on-site role offers a 12-month initial contract, with potential fixed-term arrangements or Inside IR35.

You will manage 25-30 critical Manufacturing Orders, track progress through all production stages, and collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, Logistics and Suppliers.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills.

• Proven project coordination skills and delivery focus.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, ShopVue or similar).

Responsibilities

• Manage 25-30 critical Manufacturing Orders.
• Track orders through every stage of production.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Logistics, and Suppliers.
• Remove delays, bottlenecks and waiting time.
• Escalate issues and drive rapid resolution.
• Monitor recovery plans and ensure commitments are met.
• Produce daily status reports and recovery metrics.
• Support weekly recovery reviews.

TheroleisbasedonsiteatGloucester,andthereare2DayShift,1BridgingShiftand1NightShiftpositionsavailable.Wearelookingforpeoplewhocanstartwithinthenext4weeks. The role will initially be for 12m and can be a fixed term contract, or an Inside IR35 role.
