Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment Ltd is supporting a manufacturing business in Sutton Coldfield to recruit a Project Engineer. You will lead engineering projects from concept to installation and drive continuous improvement across equipment, processes and systems.

The role requires strong CAD skills, supplier and contractor liaison, and effective stakeholder management. A competitive salary (£42,000–£48,000), pension and benefits are on offer, with a Monday–Friday, 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Deliver engineering projects in a manufacturing setting.
• Produce and interpret technical CAD drawings.
• Introduce capital equipment and manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from concept through installation and commissioning.
• Produce, review and maintain CAD drawings and docs.
• Specify, procure, install and commission new machinery and systems.
• Manage budgets, timelines and project risks.
• Coordinate on-site contractors and review RAMS.
