Job summary

Plexus Corp. is seeking a Manufacturing Product Engineer to drive production excellence by bridging product design with scalable manufacturing.

You will optimize processes, validate equipment, and mentor peers as the lead technical expert for complex programs. You will collaborate across functions to ensure quality, delivery and cost targets are met, while maintaining documentation and compliance with strict standards.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: HNC or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline with hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Analytical mindset: data analysis, root-cause troubleshooting, structured design, statistical analysis, FMEA knowledge.
• Hands-on tooling knowledge: familiarity with hand tools, manufacturing equipment, and precision measurement instruments.
• Communication & teamwork: strong verbal and written communication to collaborate with customers and production teams.
• Self-starter drive: ability to own product phases and advance projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Design & Optimize: develop cost-effective, robust manufacturing solutions and new product designs.
• Product & Equipment Ownership: oversee equipment, conduct validations, and lead product verification testing.
• Continuous Improvement: use data and SPC to reduce waste and improve yields.
• Technical Collaboration: serve as primary technical contact across cross-functional teams.
• Documentation & Compliance: create product documentation and change records adhering to quality standards.
• Knowledge Sharing: develop area of technical specialization and mentor juniors.
