Job summary
Jaguar Land Rover is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer for Electric Drive Units (EDU) at the Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre. You will lead process design, development and production support across global EDU facilities, driving quality, efficiency and capability improvements.
You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust processes, meet demanding cost targets and operate within IATF-compliant documentation.
Qualifications
- PfMEA, Control Plans, Process Audits and Critical Characteristics are expected.
- Strong quality systems knowledge with data analysis using SAP/QDAS/Engineering Workstation.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models and GD&T.
Responsibilities
- Lead the procurement, delivery and commissioning of manufacturing equipment and assembly systems.
- Define and implement manufacturing processes, tooling, metrology systems and line side gauging.
- Support daily production challenges and drive rapid issue resolution.
- Develop and standardise manufacturing processes and engineering strategies.
- Drive feasibility activities and implement robust long-term solutions.
- Introduce innovative manufacturing technologies to improve safety, quality and cost performance.
- Lead continuous improvement activities across investment efficiency and process documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the project lifecycle from concept to production.
