Job summary

Jaguar Land Rover Limited is seeking an experienced Reliability and Maintainability professional at its Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre in the UK. You will develop robust maintenance processes, manage part inventories, and drive continuous improvement across existing ICE and EV propulsion systems.

The role requires deep knowledge of SAP PM, RCA, and cross-disciplinary engineering skills, with a focus on high-volume precision manufacturing, safety, quality, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP PM navigation and use for maintenance planning and analysis.
• Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Experience interacting with external sources (vendors, OEMs, suppliers).
• Knowledge of engine component machining, assembly and testing, or transferable experience.
• Strong technical knowledge across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and control systems.
• Excellent communication skills across functional boundaries and levels.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Support resolution of operational issues and major breakdowns with Production and Maintenance teams.
• Identify critical spare parts, manage stock levels, and improve inventory processes with Stores.
• Define and manage SLA requirements, plan maintenance activities and coordinate contractor work on site.
• Manage failures via FRACAS, collect data, coordinate investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis to reduce maintenance and production losses.
• Analyse MTTR, MTBF, Technical Availability and OEE; optimise TPM schedules using SAP PM data.
• Produce reports from SAP PM to highlight downtime trends and improvement opportunities.
