Job summary

British Gypsum Partnership is seeking a Performance Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team on our Robertsbridge gypsum manufacturing plant. You will drive continuous improvement, deliver targeted results, and coach engineers to sustain performance.

The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and a focus on safety and cost efficiency. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday days, based at the Robertsbridge site in East Sussex, with a supportive benefits package and

Qualifications

• Engineering experience in large manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.
• Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence experience.
• Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills; Excel proficiency desirable.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Inspirational leader who can drive development and positivity.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage team KPIs and be accountable for H&S and performance.
• Develop a three-year strategy to meet the site roadmap targets.
• Implement medium-term plans and secure Capex for improvements.
• Drive and complete WCM activities for the Performance Team.
• Analyse data to forecast and adjust maintenance plans and time usage.
• Promote a safe and sustainable working environment.
