Job summary

Strange + Wright Recruitment Partners are working with a well-established manufacturer in Peterborough to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to join the Senior Management Team. The role leads Facilities, Engineering and Warehouse, driving safety, reliability and continuous improvement across the site.

You will report to the Operations Director and collaborate with Production, Quality, Commercial and Finance teams.

Qualifications

Senior operations leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
Experience directing facilities, engineering and warehouse operations.
Solid budgeting and cost-control capabilities.
Strong commitment to health and safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead Facilities, Engineering and Warehouse functions to optimise performance.
Drive site Health & Safety and cultivate a proactive safety culture.
Develop and mentor Maintenance Engineers, Warehouse staff and Safety Coordinator.
Implement preventive maintenance programmes to reduce downtime.
Oversee stock accuracy, picking, dispatch and warehouse efficiency.
