Job summary

Stryker Belfast is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to help build life-saving medical devices in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. You will contribute to daily output on the production line and develop your skills for a long-term career.

The role focuses on following defined work instructions, performing routine quality checks, labeling and packing products, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while communicating clearly with teammates.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and quality systems in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
• Strong team-player mindset with good communication skills.
• Ability to follow work instructions, procedures and quality standards accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and package medical devices by following clearly defined work instructions and standard processes.
• Work efficiently on a production line in a fast-paced environment, balancing speed, accuracy and quality to meet daily output targets.
• Carry out routine quality checks, visually inspect products, and record results to support high safety and compliance standards.
• Accurately label, scan, pack, and prepare products for shipment to internal and external locations.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-focused work area in line with site procedures.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to support smooth day-to-day operations and resolve issues promptly.

Shift

• Night shift: Monday to Thursday, 8:00pm to 6:30am

United Kingdom Pay Scales:

Belfast: 13.66 GBP Hourly
