Job summary

Stryker Belfast is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support the manufacture of life-saving medical devices in a quality-focused environment. You will assemble, test, and package products on a production line, while maintaining safety and standards.

The role offers permanent full-time employment with day or early shifts, on-site working, and opportunities to grow within a world-leading medical device company.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or Level 2 qualification.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and quality systems is advantageous.
• Strong team-player mindset and good communication skills.
• Ability to follow work instructions and quality standards accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and package medical devices by following defined work instructions and processes.
• Work efficiently on a production line in a fast-paced environment to meet daily output targets.
• Carry out routine quality checks, visually inspect products, and record results.
• Label, scan, pack, and prepare products for shipment to internal and external locations.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-focused work area.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to support daily operations.

In this role, you will support the manufacture of Stryker products to the required quality standards, helping ensure our medical devices reach the people who need them.

What you will do

• Assemble, test, and package medical devices by following clearly defined work instructions and standard processes.

• Carry out routine quality checks, visually inspect products, and record results to support high safety and compliance standards.

• Accurately label, scan, pack, and prepare products for shipment to internal and external locations.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safety‑focused work area in line with site procedures.

• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to support smooth day‑to‑day operations and resolve issues promptly.

What you will need

• GCSEs or a Level 2 qualification, or equivalent experience.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.

• Knowledge of manufacturing and quality systems in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.

• A strong team‑player mindset with good communication skills.

• Ability to follow work instructions, procedures, and quality standards accurately.

Shift

• Day Shift : Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 6:00pm OR Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

United Kingdom Pay Scales:

Belfast: 13.66 GBP Hourly
