Manufacturing / Production Operative (Magnesium) - NDT Level 2 (Billets/Extrusion)
Luxfer MEL Technologies is a global leader in the development, manufacture and supply of Magnesium and Zirconium based products and services to technology industries worldwide. We have approximately 300 employees across the UK & US.
As a Manufacturing Operative you will support the 24/7 operation in the Magnesium department, working on ultrasonic testing of our products, following manufacturing procedures as safely and efficiently as possible to fulfil production plans. This will involve:
What you’ll need to be considered for this Ultrasonic Testing NDT Operative / Manufacturing Operative role:
Must have a valid forklift truck licence. A Pendant crane qualification would also be advantageous.

You’ll be employed on a perm contract, predominantly working a Day shift pattern (THIS COULD CHANGE). Flexibility will be required due to the nature of the role. You’ll be working from our head office in Swinton, Greater Manchester.
