Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Exeter is seeking a Manufacturing Operative to join a production team manufacturing precision components for aerospace and gas turbine applications.

You will polish, deburr, clean and finish parts, use hand tools and equipment, and follow technical drawings and work instructions. You will also inspect components, perform quality checks, maintain a safe and clean environment, and work as part of a multi-skilled team.

As a Manufacturing Operative / Production Operative, you'll work as part of a production team manufacturing and preparing precision components for aerospace and gas turbine applications. Duties include:

• Polishing, deburring, cleaning and fine finishing
• Using hand tools and manufacturing equipment
• Setting, loading and preparing components
• Inspecting components and carrying out quality checks
• Following technical drawings, specifications and work instructions
• Identifying defects and preparing components for the next production stage
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
• Working as part of a multi-skilled manufacturing team Enjoy practical, hands-on work
