Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Derby is seeking a Programme Manager – Manufacturing Operations to lead site-based projects within the Manufacturing Operations portfolio, ensuring delivery on time, to budget and to quality.

The role requires 5+ years of programme management experience, strong governance knowledge, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across manufacturing and planning functions. The role supports hybrid working with three days in the office.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in project or programme management.
• Experience in planning, monitoring and controlling projects against schedule, cost, quality, scope, benefits and risk.
• Experience of leading and coordinating teams and stakeholders to deliver defined outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for delivery to cost, specification and time of defined work packages.
• Secure and manage resources for the programme from internal and external providers.
• Create and manage integrated programme plans and schedules.
• Develop budgets for the programme and control forecast vs actual costs.
• Maintain documentation required to deliver work packages within the programme.
• Act as focal point for all aspects relating to the packages of work.
• Lead and coordinate multi-functional teams to support programme delivery.
• Adapt plans in response to resource and operational challenges to maintain delivery objectives.
