Job summary

Stryker Belfast is seeking a high-impact manufacturing leader responsible for safe, compliant, on-time production and full P&L for the manufacturing area. You will shape how products are made, how people are developed, and how operational excellence is delivered every day.

You will build a high-performing team, deploy lean practices, manage budgets, and drive site strategy with measurable results across safety, quality, cost, delivery and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Production Management or Engineering.
• 8+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years' experience in a people management role.
• Experience managing manufacturing budgets and financial performance.
• Experience operating in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA/ISO).

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct day-to-day manufacturing operations to deliver safe, compliant, on-time and cost-effective production aligned to customer demand and business targets.
• Own full profit and loss responsibility for the manufacturing area, including budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, operating expenses and capital investment.
• Drive operational excellence by deploying lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish, track and review performance metrics; identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure full regulatory, quality and environmental health and safety compliance, including audits.
• Partner cross-functionally to support capacity planning, new product introductions and process changes.
• Build, lead and develop a high-performing team of supervisors and production planning resources.
• Contribute to site strategic planning and lead operational improvement projects.
