Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe in Carrickmacross is seeking a Production Group Leader to drive operational excellence across the production stream. You will lead a cross-functional team and ensure safety, quality, cost and delivery targets are met while fostering a culture of engagement and continuous improvement.

You will apply Lean Manufacturing principles, optimise labour, manage maintenance activities, and deliver site improvement projects with strong people leadership and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in manufacturing or production environments.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and numerical skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience analysing production performance data.
• Understanding of Lean and continuous improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing production team
• Champion Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality standards
• Deliver production targets through effective people and process management
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing and OPEX tools
• Organise and optimise labour to maximise efficiency
• Manage maintenance activities to minimise downtime
• Support site improvement projects with cross-functional teams
• Standardise processes and ensure adherence to established ways of working
• Apply problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes and implement solutions
