Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Support Manager for its Worthing site in the United Kingdom. The role leads manufacturing operations support to ensure safe, compliant and reliable production while coaching teams and driving continuous improvement.

The candidate will coordinate daily support activities, manage deviations and investigations, and serve as the contact for audits and inspections.

Qualifications

Basic qualification: experience in regulated manufacturing or packaging environment.
Experience in an operational or operations support role with day-to-day delivery responsibilities.
Proven experience managing deviations, investigations and corrective actions.
Experience supporting internal or external audits and inspection readiness.
Track record of delivering continuous improvement or operational change.
Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate daily operational support activities to meet production schedules, safety and quality requirements.
Act as the primary operations contact for projects, transfers and handovers into production.
Support internal and external audit readiness and act as a contact during inspections.
Manage responses to deviations, incidents and investigations, driving timely root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Coach frontline leaders and technicians to embed standard work and continuous improvement practices.
Work with engineering and planning to maintain business continuity, resource plans and local operating procedures.
