Job summary

Qualifications

• A degree in business, supply chain, engineering, life sciences, pharmaceutical sciences or related discipline.
• Strong direct procurement experience including category strategy, strategic sourcing and contract negotiation.
• Experience leading complex, high-value sourcing activities and developing negotiation strategies.
• Commercial, analytical and stakeholder-management skills with global matrix experience.
• Experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end category and sourcing strategies for outsourced large-molecule drug substance and drug product manufacturing services.
• Run complex sourcing activities and negotiate contracts, including master service agreements, statements of work, pricing arrangements and long-term capacity agreements.
• Manage strategic relationships with contract development and manufacturing organisations and other external partners.
• Work across Procurement, External Manufacturing Operations, R&D, Technical, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Legal and product teams.
• Support new product introductions, technology transfers, capacity expansion, supplier transitions and supply-continuity activities.
• Balance value, quality, service, resilience, innovation and risk when making commercial and supplier decisions.
