Manufacturing Material Handler

Location: 61 Barnes Industrial Park North, Wallingford, CT 06492

Facility: CT180 Manufacturing Facility

Shift: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm, up to 28 hours/week

Overview

As a Part-time Manufacturing Material Handler, you will be responsible for maintaining material flow, including keeping materials at the machine for processing, loading trucks, and returning unused materials from each work order. The position may offer flexible scheduling after onboarding, training, and achieving performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to machines
• Assist multiple teams by supplying and returning materials

Required Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong math skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Alignment with core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
• Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25-50 lbs, up to 100 lbs
• Pass the required drug screening (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous material handling experience
• Experience operating a forklift
