Now Hiring: Material Handler I at our Salisbury, North Carolina distribution center.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, working Monday through Friday (10:30 AM - 7:00 PM). No weekends or holidays! Paid Time Off includes 18 days during your first year. Imperial offers Day 1 benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Additionally, we provide six paid holidays and contribute 6% to a 401(k) plan with immediate vesting.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform safe and accurate manual packaging of products, put away products, and pick orders while meeting production standards within the Distribution Center.
• Package inbound materials, including assembling assortment kits using labeling systems, printers, automated packaging equipment, scales, tape guns, mechanical staplers, and shrink wrapping.
• Document packaging activities using radio frequency scanners and keyboard data entry.
• Pick orders on the warehouse floor using non-powered industrial equipment.
• Perform cart put-away, restocking, and assist with inventory cycle counts on the warehouse floor using non-powered industrial equipment.

Qualifications:

- High School diploma/GED or equivalent.

- At least one year of general knowledge of distribution or manufacturing operations.

- Average math skills and effective reading & writing skills.

- Problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and accuracy.

- Ability to stand and walk most of the time in a warehouse environment.

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
