Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in manufacturing or production, including financial and operational management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the business plan with the COO, setting priorities and objectives.
• Take accountability for profit and loss, budgets, forecasts, sales, margins and cost control.
• Grow sales by developing existing accounts and winning new customers.
• Build relationships with key customers through regular contact and visits.
• Oversee enquiries, quotations, pricing and negotiations to protect margins.
• Work with sales and production to convert enquiries into orders and keep a healthy order book.
• Coordinate with production to plan, purchase and dispatch orders on time and to spec.
• Align capacity, staffing, materials and equipment with demand to improve productivity and reduce waste.
