Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Darlington, United Kingdom, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Manufacturing Maintenance team. The role operates on a 4 on 4 off pattern with 2 x 12 hour days and 2 x 12 hour nights, onsite, 100% on-site.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and control systems, contribute to preventive and predictive maintenance, and support safe working practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• Time-served Maintenance Technician background with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic engineering.
• Significant hands-on experience in manufacturing/industrial environments with multiple energy sources.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and enhance mechanical, electrical and control systems to keep production running.
• Contribute to preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.
• Enter breakdown information into a CMMS to drive machine performance and uptime data.
• Lead and support colleagues, providing guidance and technical support.
