Job summary

Kerry is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for its Taste & Nutrition Manufacturing facility in Runcorn. The role focuses on carrying out planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and supporting continuous improvement to maximise equipment reliability and plant performance.

This permanent, full-time position operates on early and late shifts (Mon-Fri) with specific Friday schedules. Join a team committed to safety, collaboration, and development within a global leader in taste and nutrition.

Qualifications

• Qualified multi-skilled engineer with mechanical and/or electrical expertise.
• Strong experience in manufacturing maintenance and equipment reliability.
• Excellent fault-finding, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record in PPM, breakdown reduction and continuous improvement.
• Collaborative, hands-on approach with the ability to support others.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide full technical engineering support to the Production function.
• Assume responsibility for the integrity of equipment and carry out PMs.
• Respond to breakdowns and implement improvements to maximize uptime.
• Maintain accurate PM sheets and logs and coordinate with the Maintenance Planner.
• Coordinate with production personnel to speed fault diagnosis and resolution.
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed.
