Job summary
Kerry, the world's leading taste and nutrition company, is hiring a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias for the Cam site near Dursley, Gloucestershire. You will support production by maintaining plant equipment, diagnosing faults, and minimising downtime to ensure on-time, high-quality output.
The role involves ownership of electrical and mechanical systems, planned and reactive maintenance, and driving continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3.
- BTEC ONC / City & Guilds or equivalent in engineering discipline.
- Proficient with SAP.
- Strong diagnostic / trouble-shooting experience in Hi-volume manufacturing.
- Knowledge & experience of electro/mechanical automated equipment & processes including pneumatic, hydraulic and instrumentation-controlled systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform reactive maintenance on the production line to minimise downtime.
- Support changeovers and attend daily meetings.
- Undertake planned maintenance and collaborate with Maintenance Planner and Stores.
- Diagnose and resolve both simple and complex electrical/mechanical faults.
