Job summary

10 Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Ossett, UK, to conduct preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience in workshop machinery.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary range of £40,000 to £42,000 per annum. Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, and an early finish every Friday at 1:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer background.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or workshop environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across factory equipment.
• Respond to reactive breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently.
