Job summary

10 Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical Bias in West Yorkshire. The role is hands-on within a manufacturing environment, focusing on keeping machinery and premises operating safely and efficiently while supporting site continuous improvement.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and fabrication as needed, with TPM involvement and a proactive maintenance approach. Monday–Friday, rotating shifts, permanent position.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer
• Strong mechanical maintenance experience
• Electro-mechanical experience
• Experience maintaining manufacturing or production equipment
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manufacture or fabricate machine parts
• Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong understanding of health & safety and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electro-mechanical faults
• Maintain machinery and site premises
• Manufacture or fabricate machine parts where required
• Support TPM and continuous improvement activities
• Help improve machinery reliability and production efficiency
• Work in line with health, safety and quality procedures
• Promote good manufacturing practice
